I am so excited to show you and reveal our nursery! Before becoming a nursery, this room was an extra guest bedroom with a twin sized bed. We decided to leave the twin size bed in there for now. This room is on the small side, so I was very conscious of what we were putting inside the nursery. I knew we needed the basics: a crib, a rocking chair/ glider, and a small end table. I must say, with my first baby I had the nursery set up and ready before I was even 7 months pregnant. Here I am, currently 2 weeks left until baby M is due and we are just now putting the finishing touches to the nursery.

Below is a virtual tour of our Farmhouse Nursery:
My first daughters’ room was very pink. This time I knew I wanted something neutral with a farmhouse vibe. I decided on a buffalo grey check with eucalyptus leaves and lots of green hues. My first daughter’s crib had open slats on the back, I decided to get a fully covered backing on the crib this time.
I purchased the elephant and “dream big little one” as a pdf off of etsy.

We have hard wood floors in this room. I originally bought a rug for the floor, but ultimately decided on moving our foam skip hop floor mat in there instead. This allows for a soft cushion and just the right amount of cushion for tummy and play time.

The closet is a little small, so we added built in shelves and some storage carts for extra storage.
