Sweet & Simple Valentine’s Day Ideas for My Girls

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and you know I can’t resist any excuse to get festive for my girls! Every year, I love putting together little “Love Baskets” – sweet, simple surprises filled with things they adore and a few special treats (because, let’s be honest, candy is definitely one of their love languages!).

This year’s baskets are all about sweet, simple, and thoughtful. I included a mix of small goodies – think fuzzy socks, a new book, a cup, a little craft, and of course some chocolate. You can snag all the goodies I used here (I’ve linked everything to make it super easy for you to shop!).

I also added something extra special this year: homemade playdough sensory tubs! These were so fun to put together and have become our absolute favorite “busy” activity. They are perfect for on-the-go. I always keep them in my bag for restaurants or car rides to keep little hands busy. Each tub is filled with soft, homemade dough and themed trinkets that provide hours of screen-free entertainment.

And because no Valentine’s Day would be complete without a little treat, I made the cutest yogurt pops – healthy(ish), adorable, and totally mom-approved. I used Stonyfield yogurt, a few sprinkles, and lollipop-shaped molds I found here. Pop them in the freezer for a few hours, and boom – instant smiles!

Whether you go big or keep it simple, Valentine’s Day is all about letting our kids feel the love. These little touches go a long way and make for the sweetest memories. 💗

Wishing you a love-filled (and chocolate-filled!) Valentine’s Day, mamas!
